File990's website is linked to the IRS E-file system. The IRS does not process PDFs of the 990N or EZ, so you'll just need to enter your filing info into our web-based form. To create a new return, simply select the + icon on your File990 dashboard and choose the desired form from the dropdown menu.
Payment is the final step in submitting your return. Once your payment is submitted, your filing is immediately sent to the IRS! Filings are processed electronically to the IRS via the Modernized E-File System. Typically, you will receive acceptance or rejection within 1 hour, although these processing times take longer during high volume filing periods.
Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as your email server may direct your confirmation email there. You can also sign into your File990 account and view the acceptance status of your return.
